We are excited to introduce Christine Maus, as the new Assistant Principal for the Haynes & Nixon Elementary Schools. Christine brings a wealth of experience and a passion for education that she is eager to share with students, parents, and staff alike. Christine holds an undergraduate degree from Mercyhurst University, a master’s degree in education from Lesley University, and an administration license from Curry College.
Christine and her husband, Andy, live in Westford, MA, with their three teenage children—Tobin, Paxton, and Charlotte—and their beloved chocolate lab. With 14 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Christine deeply understands the joys and challenges of elementary education.
Outside of school, Christine spends much of her time cheering on her sons, who row competitively for CRI in Boston, and watching her daughter dance with the Boston Ballet School. During the summer, her family enjoys spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee.
She is excited to become an active part of the Sudbury community and is committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment at both Haynes and Nixon Elementary Schools. Christine looks forward to collaborating with parents and staff to ensure every child thrives.
