Susan Woods, Principal

Prior to joining Sudbury Public Schools, Ms. Woods served as the Assistant Principal of the Sam Placentino Elementary School in Holliston, Director of Curriculum and Professional Development for the Holbrook Public Schools and previous to these administrative roles, Ms. Woods taught Kindergarten and Second Grade at Cabot Elementary School in Newton.
Ms. Woods holds an Associates Degree in Child Study from Mount Ida College, a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Human Development and a Master of Science in Human Development from Wheelock College and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from American International College.
Sarah Daggett, Assistant Principal

We are excited to introduce Sarah Daggett, as the new full-time Assistant Principal for Nixon Elementary School. With a deep and varied background in education, she brings a wealth of experience to our school. Prior to her role at Nixon, Ms. Daggett served as a Literacy Coach in Arlington. With 16 years of experience in education, she has taught various grades, including kindergarten, first, second, and fifth grade in Belmont and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Daggett’s educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Fitchburg State University and a Master of Education in Language and Literacy from Lesley University. She also earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Pennsylvania State University: one in Elementary and Kindergarten Education and the other in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She is excited to join the Nixon community and looks forward to supporting our students’ continued growth and success.
